Intensive Japanese Course:
Class 1

Elementary 12 The lessons cover grammar, sentence patterns, conversation, writing, etc. They aim to improve the students' four abilities (listening, speaking, reading, and writing) on top of acquisition of knowledge of the Japanese language. At the end of the course, each student is requested to give a presentation in Japanese.

Upper intermediate 4 Expand the knowledge of the Japanese language while improving four basic abilities. Also, each student is requested to give a presentation in Japanese.

Intensive Japanese Course: Class 1

 

Level Elementary
No. of lessons 12 lessons per week
Description

Class to intensively learn Japanese for beginners. Students attend every class held on every weekday (Mon.-Fri.). They learn basic structure of Japanese (phonology, letters, grammar), do adequate training in "listening", "speaking", "reading" and "writing", and cultivate the skills to use Japanese in real life. The lifestyle of international students or foreign researchers is considered in the contents used in class, and what students learn will connect to everyday life. Students who have never or barely learned Japanese before will be able to fully understand beginner-level Japanese grammar and obtain basic communication skills.

Note
  1. Attendance in all lessons is required. If you know that you can not attend all lessons (even when you need to miss just one lesson per week), enroll in another elementary course (General Course Level 1).
  2. Teachers sometimes use English for the purpose of explanation. Students who are not well-versed in English may find it difficult to understand the class.

Intensive Japanese Course: Class 2

 

Level Elementary to intermediate (considering entire enrollment of Intensive Japanese Course, this may be changed to an elementary class.
No. of lessons 12 lessons per week
Description

Class to intensively learn Japanese for beginners who wish to reach lower intermediate level. Students attend every class held on every weekday (Mon.-Fri.). Students must have already learned some Japanese before the start of this class. The content of the class is similar to Class 1 written above, but the destination will be higher.

  1. Attendance in all lessons is required. If you know that you can not attend all lessons (even when you need to miss just one lesson per week), enroll in another elementary course (General Course Level 1 or Level 2).
  2. Teachers sometimes use English for the purpose of explanation. Students who are not well-versed in English may find it difficult to understand.

Intensive Japanese Course: Class 3

Description

Class to intensively learn Japanese for lower intermediate learners who have already finished learning beginner-level Japanese.  Students attend every class held on every weekday (Mon.-Fri.). They learn intermediate Japanese knowledge (grammar, vocabulary, etc.), do adequate training in "listening", "speaking", "reading" and "writing", and improve the skills to use Japanese in real life.

Note Attendance in all lessons is required. If you know that you can not attend all lessons (even when you need to miss just one lesson per week), enroll in another intermediate course (General Course Level pre3 or 3).

Intensive Japanese Course: Class 4

 

Level Upper intermediate

Description

Class to intensively learn Japanese for upper intermediate learners who wish to reach advanced level. Students attend every class held 4 times a week. They learn/practice intermediate grammar, reading, listening, conversation, and maybe presentation.

Note Attendance to all lessons is required. If you know that you can not attend all lessons (even a lesson per week), enroll in another intermediate course (General Course Level 4, etc.).
