My experience in Japanese language education began when I felt interest in 1) how Japanese language which I am using without much thought as a Japanese can be systematically organized and in 2) how the language is seen by non-Japanese speakers. Since I started to teach Japanese at the center, the third theme 3) how the language can be taught in everyday classes was added as my subject of research on top of the previous two. Similarly, my another task is to develop teaching methods and materials for the students who have never learned "kanji" to learn the characters without much difficulty.
